It is frequently but wrongly considered impossible for persons affected by occupational diseases to pursue claims concerning these diseases under civil law. The experience of our clients, whom we have represented on matters concerning asbestosis, among other diseases, indicates an established practice in Polish courts towards admission of claims filed under civil law by persons affected by diseases caused by working conditions.
